The Pinata Festival is right around the corner! After a lot of fun workshops and pinata parties it is time to reveal our paper mache masterpieces. Come check out some of the most elaborate piñatas Sacramento has ever seen, learn to make sugar skulls, dance to the sounds La Misa Negra (Live Cumbia), DJ Leydis and El Indio of World Hood and bring the whole family.
Join us June 16th at Southside Park as Sol Collective and Spanglish Arte combine for the third annual Pinata Festival.

An outdoor vendor market and art show featuring some of Sacramento's premier artisans and boutiques will satiate the shopper in you. Alongside all the beautiful piñatas being exhibited, there will be piñata building workshops as well as various art activities. Some of Sacramento's favorite food trucks will be catering the event with musical performances by La Misa Negra, El Indio of World Hood, and DJ Leydis. Other special performances throughout the day include Agua de Beber Capoeira and Maquilli Tonatiuh dancers.
Proceeds from this event benefit Sol Collective and help us to support and further our community programming. Thank you to everyone who has purchased, built, or helped decorate all the piñatas this year. We can't wait for you to see them. See you then.
